The Album

WHEN YOU'RE IN LOVE, SOMETIMES, IT’S NOT SO EASY

The experience begins with a great CD. The music portion of the project features
performance by Ali Woodson, formerly with the Temptations, Jean Carn, Gary
Bartz, Denise Stewart and Juewett Bostick. Bostick produced the CD with
selections co-produced by Norman Connors

YOU SHOULD KNOW THE COMPLETE STORY, THE MUSIC IS JUST
THE BEGINNING

The central theme resonating through all of the selections is relationships. The
dynamic between people in different situations and stages in life, regardless of age or
gender, will always be of interest to music fans.An adult urban R&B, contemporary
jazz flavor serves as the fiber with which this musical tapestry is woven.
Each selection on this CD tells a story about love and relationships. The dynamic
between man and woman, the love between parent and child, the respect between
friends all serve as inspiration for the music. Each song has a rich history awaiting
your exploration. The information and media on the CD-ROM allows the
exploration of each song and it's evolution. Additionally, we have included bonus
tracks, not included on the music CD, in the popular MP-3 format. Furthermore,
these bonus tracks have alternate mixes to complement your moods, lifestyle and
activities.

The CD-ROM

THE MARRIAGE OF ART AND TECHNOLOGY SHOULD NOT BE A
SHOTGUN WEDDING

It should be something eloquent, honest, visually pleasing and inviting to non-techies'
and it should serve a purpose.

The designers of the CD-ROM have worked very hard to achieve this end. We
think the music is half the experience. So, we're exposing the personal side of the
writers, singers, musicians and producers. We videotaped the recording sessions,
interviewed the writers, singers and producers.

We captured special moments in the studio so you would be there too. All of this has
been included in the CD-ROM to bring you the story of how the music came to life.

Who is Bostick?

In his 25 years in the recording industry Juewett Bostick, (pronounced Ju wet, and
affectionately called “JU” by family and close friends) has recorded, composed,
produced and/or performed with such industry luminaries as Bobby Brown, Vanessa
Williams, Barry White, Johnny Gill, Gary Bartz, Norman Connors, The Temptations,
Sister Sledge, Grover Washington, Hubert Laws, Nancy Wilson, Norman Brown,
Thelma Houston, Tisha Campbell and Eartha Kitt, to mention a few. He has been
professionally associated with recording artists who have collectively sold millions of
records that translated into millions of retail sales. Surely, he is an idea whose season
has finally come!

While the industry struggles to define how to merge entertainment, communication
and technology into a consumer product, this information designer/guitarist has
brought his musical talent to the forefront and produced and packaged his own debut
music CD It’s Not So Easy, with cutting-edge vision and innovative technology.

JU has entered a brand new season, with his debut CD, It’s Not So Easy. For this
outing he turned the tables and invited long-time friend Norman Connors to
co-produce and appear on his CD. The theme of this contemporary R&B, smooth
jazz CD is all about relationships. Bostick has combined his jazzy guitar sounds with
the well-known, classic voice of Jean Carn, the soul-wrenching sounds of
consummate rhythm and blues artist, Ali Woodson, and the extraordinary vocal
talents of close friend Denise Stewart.

The music and lyrics of It’s Not So Easy, speak to the heart and soul of
relationships. It is propelled by a seasoned band of musicians. Guest appearances
include Gary Bartz, flutist Art Webb and close associate bassist Welton Gite.

To top it off, JU has innovatively packaged It’s Not So Easy with an interactive
CD-ROM that features multimedia and additional content from the recording
sessions. The multimedia experience takes the user into the minds and souls of the
musicians and vocalists during the music’s creation. His artistry is clearly ahead of his
contemporaries.

Bostick recognized the impact that the Internet and multimedia would have on the
entertainment industry and established a presence on the World Wide Web,
www.nutbutton.com. The site features new and established artists with his
multimedia content and web design. He views the Internet as an extension of his
music productions and began developing multimedia content for all of his music
projects.

From 1991 to 1995 JU worked with Norman on his Mojazz CD Remember Who
You Are, and on Mojazz guitarist Norman Brown’s debut CD Just Between Us.
1997 was the second Mojazz CD from Connors, Easy Living and 1999 Eternity.

It’s Not So Easy, produced and arranged by guitarist and information designer
Juewett Bostick. See how good music and technology can be combined into a
pleasurable experience. www.juewettbostick.com. Technology With An Attitude.
