me by my grandfather, featuring the wonderful songwriting of Chuck Jackson

vocals. My grandfather planted a seed that grew into a life long love of
great soul/r&b music that included vocalists, writers, & producers Donny
Hathaway, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Luther Vandross,
Patti Austin, George Benson, Bacharach/David, Goffin & King, Rod Temperton
& Quincy Jones."

James' career began with cuts on Virgin/EMI's #1 Nickelodeon Artist &
Disney Vocalist, Brook Allison, CURB Records Ultimate Wedding Hits with
songs by Diane Warren & The Judds, Australia's #1 Platinum "Pop Idols,"
artists on BMG, Universal Latino, The WB, and multiple National TV
placements incl. one of the most frequently played songs on daytime TV.
James' material united him with 3 childhood legends for a project on
Navarre DVD's with Patrice Rushen as musical director, arranger, &
keyboardist on two of his songs, along with material by Carole King &
Carole Bayer Sager.

Collaborators incl. Amy Powers (Andrew Lloyd Webber, Barbara Streisand,
Brain McKnight), Sarah Nagourney (Randy Crawford, Wynonna), Jack Perricone
(Angela Bofil, Lou Rawls), Jeff Byrd (Lionel Richie, All-4-1), Underground

Awards: Grand Prize & 1st Place Winning Songs in every major International
Songwriting Competition including Billboard Magazine's & The John Lennon.
James has also been honored by ASCAP, The National Academy of Popular
Music, and was presented the Songwriter's Hall of Fame Award of Excellence
by his Idol, Hal David.

Jeff Ramsey: Vocals

Who do you call if you're a Platinum selling DIVA & you need a soulful
male background vocal on your new hit record? Diana Ross, Whitney Houston,
Celine Dion, & Barbra Streisand called on Jeff Ramsey! Ramsey makes his
lead vocal recording debut on James' record "Remember When." James has
long been a fan since hearing Jeff perform with artists Lalah Hathaway, Al
Jarreau, & Maxwell. In addition, Jeff has recorded & performed with: Al
Mackay, Rocco Prestia (of Tower Of Power), Walter Beasley, & Diane Reeves!

Audrey Wheeler Downing: Vocals

Audrey Wheeler began as lead singer for '80s dance band Unlimited Touch's
"Searching to Find the One" and Jeff Lorber's 1985 hit "Step By Step." She
can be heard on recordings by Freddie Jackson, Melba Moore, Glenn Jones, D
Train, Najee, Kashif & Me'lisa Morgan's hit cover of Mother's Finest's
"Love Changes," The System's "Don't Disturb This Groove", and C&C Music
Factory, among others. Wheeler made her major-label debut in 1987 for
Capitol Records with the album Let It Be. When Chic guitarist Nile Rodgers
started a new BMG-distributed label, Wheeler was signed to a deal and her
I'm Yours Tonight album was released in 1992. Currently Audrey is known
for her duets with husband Will Downing & as a highly in demand touring
vocalist for artists such as Diana Ross, Chaka Kahn & Angie Stone.

Mikelyn Roderick: Vocals

Triple threat Mikelyn Roderick, former lead singer for 80's Soul group "By
All Means," recorded 3 albums on Motown and Island/4th & Broadway. More
recently Roderick is known for her hit songwriting & collaborations with
Rahsaan Patterson, Tevin Campbell, & Babyface. Mikelyn has toured with
Bill Withers, Barry White, Anita Baker, Stevie Wonder, and tapped next to
Gregory Hines! As an actress, Mikelyn can be seen on episodes of Law &
Order, Cagney & Lacey, Moonlighting, and is currently appearing in the
Gospel Musical "Crownes" in Boston!

Dow Brain of Underground Productions: All Keyboards

A precocious love affair with the piano at age five set Dow Brain on the
road to his present-day career as a composer, songwriter & producer. Dow
has had over 100 film & TV music placements incl. The Sopranos, Melrose
Place, The District, and MTV's Making The Band. Dow's company, Underground
Productions, with partner Brad Young, has earned five Platinum and Gold
