Para:Diso is a side project for Jean Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick of Incognito.
The Para:Diso CD ‘Paradise II Paranoia’ was originally issued in Japan, and gets its first release in
the UK and Europe on Dome. .

Although Daniel Maunick aka DJ Venom and his father have worked together before on productions
for artists such as Soul Bossa, Faithless, Maxi Priest and Azymuth, this is the first time they have
stepped out on their own with an album aimed at clubbers (more).

The album – already being featured heavily on Jazz FM’s Late Lounge show - draws from a wealth
of influences. With guest vocals from Valerie Etienne, Niki King and Tommy Blaize, one of the key
vocal tracks is the gentle groove of ‘RIGHT IS RIGHT’, vocalled and co-written by Niki King with Bluey
and Daniel.

Niki was winner of the Perrier Young Jazz Vocalist 2001 award, and has performed in the past at the
Jazz Café, Ronnie Scotts Club and the Glastonbury and T In The Park festivals.

Scheduled for release as a 12inch with remixes is ‘Waiting 4 The Sun 2 Shine’ featuring the delicious
Valerie Etienne on vocals.

Bluey is currently finishing up work on a new Incognito album for release in 2004, which will mark the
band’s 25th anniversary.
